Alex Kreps is many things including but not limited to: a marketer, production manager, podcast editor, news writer, photographer, social media coordinator, runner, Michigander, and a student soon to be graduate of Eastern Michigan University. At Eastern Michigan University I study Digital Media Production & Communication while minoring in Marketing. Beyond my involvement in classes I am avidly engaged with student organizations on campus. I am a member of Videographers at EMU and Eagles Filmmakers Association as well as an executive board member at the student run newspaper The Eastern Echo. Moving away from campus I am currently the part-time social media coordinator at the Ann Arbor based running event company RF Events. Outside of my professional pursuits I enjoy skateboarding, volleyball, thrifting old clothes, spending time with my fiancé, and seeing my family. I like to think of my formative years being an older child to six younger siblings as the perfect entry level management job.
As a part of my final semester at Eastern Michigan University I am participating in the Communication Capstone course where I have be working with the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative which is a non-profit organization. Currently I am on the precipice of completing my work which will involved me working on their peer-to-peer fundraising campaign called Bridge To B2B. The campaign is to raise money for the restoration and installation of the historic Bell Road Bridge in Dexter. As a part of my work on the campaign I created video content for social media and instructional videos and PDFs for external use. Now this website hosts the very work I am talking about.
